Using all technologies that enable the fastest and quietest shifting, the new SRAM Force 22 rear derailleur has been developed with our Exact Actuation technology to allow for precise and efficient shifting across the entire extended gear range. We have specified and even refined the geometry of the jockey wheel teeth. The result is a chain that runs smoother and quieter than ever before. With all these additional technologies, we have managed to maintain the same weight, well under 200 grams.

Exact Actuation: When we introduced our road technology from the ground up, we applied our proven mountain biking actuation ratio of SRAM 1:1 (pull of the shifter : movement of the derailleur) again for the 10-speed rear derailleur. EA simplifies and stabilizes the challenging balance between the design of the rear derailleur, the close spacing of the sprockets, and the precise tension of the shift cable. The result is the easiest-to-install derailleur system that remains so. For 2x10V systems. Compatible with 11-42T cassettes.
