The Scorpion™ Race DH T stands for traction, whether accelerating, braking or cornering. It is a real specialist for medium to soft ground. The centre section of the tyre has special knobs that increase traction at every stage of the turn. The central knobs are shaped to provide better mud evacuation. The super-soft SmartEVO DH rubber compound is specifically designed for enduro and downhill racing and is based on the many years of know-how of the Pirelli motorsport department. In combination with the large knobs, it results in excellent grip on slippery and wet surfaces without affecting the overall stability. DualWALL+ is a special structure developed for downhill racing. It consists of a double-layer carcass with 60 TPI, a rubber insert in the bead area and an additional fabric layer that stabilises the sidewall of the tyre. This structure provides perfect puncture protection, absorbs vibrations and shocks and ensures perfect grip in fast corners and under high loads.
