Missing thumb shifters? Switching from drop bars to flat bars? With this part, you can convert bar-end shifters into thumb shifters. The switches are not included but are readily available in 8- to 11-speed versions. At Paul Comp, they prefer thumb shifters as they can be operated precisely and smoothly. The mount is designed as a hinge clamp that accommodates handlebar diameters of 22.2 mm or 31.8 mm. The 22.2 mm version fits mountain bike handlebars, while the 31.8 mm version can be mounted close to the stem on road handlebars. The Paul Comp thumb shifter mount is only compatible with Shimano handlebar or down tube shifters. Available in black or silver, with a clamp diameter of 22.2 mm or 31.8 mm.
