The Fit Kits also offer some important advantages over mounting with attachment eyelets: Not all attachment eyelets are suitable for rack mounting; most are intended only as fender mounts and/or have a correspondingly low load capacity. An axle mount protects your frame. Want to carry more gear? The axle mount increases the load capacity of the Old Man Mountain rack to a substantial 33 kg. Want to swap your rack between multiple bikes? The Fit Kits allow for easy mounting and dismounting between different bikes or from front to rear wheel with just a few screws. Size: 3/8 - 26 mm.
