Product details
Troy Brosnan wanted to create a unicorn of tires. A tire that rolls incredibly fast, carves precisely through corners, and slows down effectively when needed. The profile of the Rekon, Minion DHF, and HighRoller II was used as a starting point and designed in close collaboration with Troy during the 2018 World Cup season. The Dissector excels as a rear tire in the DH version, whether for racing or in the bike park. The trail version also makes sense on the front wheel if you want a tire that rolls easily and offers good grip.
EXO Protection: This extremely cut- and abrasion-resistant material protects the sidewalls of various MTB tires. It is tightly woven, lightweight, and very flexible, ensuring that the tire performance remains impressively good.
Dual Compound: Two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread strip. Maxxis arranges the compounds based on the desired characteristics of the tires.
Wide Trail Casing: The Wide Trail (WT) construction optimizes the tread layout and tire shape for today's modern wider rims. Traditional tires are designed for narrow rims and take on a too-angular shape on wide rims, resulting in less than optimal performance. WT tires are optimized for an inner rim width of 35 mm but perform excellently on all rims with an inner measurement between 30 and 39 mm.
