The Dragontail SYNTH GTX by Garmont is a highly developed hiking shoe specifically designed for approaches and via ferratas. With its waterproof GORE-TEX membrane, it offers optimal protection against moisture, while the robust upper made of synthetic materials and abrasion-resistant nylon yarn ensures durability. The dual-density EVA midsole provides additional comfort and cushioning, making it ideal for longer hikes. The extended lacing up to the toes allows for precise adjustment and control, while the GTF diamond sole guarantees excellent traction on various surfaces. The shoe is not compatible with crampons but is excellent for mixed terrain and offers a regular fit that snugly wraps around the foot. Weighing approximately 860 g per pair, it is light enough for extended tours without sacrificing stability.
