Donic Schildkröt

The Legends 900 FSC from Donic-Schildkröt is one of the top models in this forward-thinking racket series. Perfectly suited for ambitious recreational players and regular hobbyists, this model features high-quality wood and grip. The ITTF-approved Spinmax rubber from Schildkröt offers excellent grip and effectively transfers spin to the ball. The 2.1 mm thick sponge between the rubber and wood generates a high level of power; faster ball speeds with the same effort are an advantage over a thinner and thus cheaper sponge. The ERGO grip, with its rounded, flowing transition from the handle to the blade, feels significantly better in the hand than traditional rackets and prevents pressure points on the index finger. This technology, established in competitive sports, now makes its way into the realm of recreational complete rackets and also allows for quick switching from forehand to backhand (and vice versa), a clear advantage in fast table tennis duels. The PLS technology (Power Light System) is also immediately noticeable: thanks to the transparent lens, one can see through the hollow handle. This construction makes the racket lighter and more head-heavy; the result is very pleasant handling and optimized power. The built-in AVS (Anti Vibration System - two shock-absorbing PU foam inserts under each of the two grip plates) between the blade and handle noticeably reduces vibrations and oscillations, allowing for a more fatigue-free game with plenty of control.

The concave ERGO handle with its rounded transition prevents pressure points on the index finger and makes it easier to quickly switch between forehand and backhand grips.

Ergonomic Grip Design

The Power Light System in the hollow handle shifts the centre of gravity forward, thereby increasing striking power while maintaining a total weight of 180 g.

Head-Heavy Balance

The 2.1 mm sponge beneath the rubber generates higher ball speed with the same amount of effort compared to thinner alternatives.
