Product details

The Bresser Messier OTA AR-102S/600 is a refractor telescope designed for both ambitious beginners and experienced astronomers. This optical assembly features an aperture diameter of 102 mm with a focal length of 600 mm, resulting in a focal ratio of 5.9 and a resolution of 1.3 arc seconds. The telescope offers magnification options ranging from 23x to 200x, making it suitable for observing faint deep-sky objects like nebulae, as well as planetary and lunar details. Made from durable aluminum with a white finish, the telescope tube measures 600 mm in length and 103 mm in diameter, weighing 3.9 kg including accessories. The optical system incorporates a 2.5-inch Hexafoc focusing mechanism for precise image adjustment. The package includes essential components for immediate use: a 26 mm Super Plössl eyepiece (31.7 mm/1 inch), a 31.7 mm diagonal mirror, integrated 31.7 mm and T2 adapters, tube clamps, a carrying handle, a camera mount, and a prism rail with a 44 mm universal clamp compatible with GP/EQ5/LXD75 mounts. Additional features include a 6x30 finderscope for locating objects and the astronomy software Stellarium with a rotating star chart for sky navigation. The light-sensitive design of the telescope allows for the observation of structures in distant celestial objects while maintaining optical clarity and precision. This is a pure optical assembly without a tripod or mount.
