The Backpack Strap features a sturdy metal carabiner hook at each end. The carabiners can be attached to the carrying straps of a backpack, ideally to so-called D-rings. Corresponding D-rings are found on nearly every backpack. The Backpack Strap is positioned to run diagonally across the front of the torso. As with all R-Strap straps, the camera attached to the strap hangs to the side of the body on a carabiner that can slide along the strap. This allows for spontaneous snapshots at any time: you grab your camera, pull it into shooting position, and click the shutter. It couldn't be faster.

Included in the package is a camera adapter of the type FastenR-5. With the adapter, you can attach the Backpack Strap to the tripod thread of your camera. This is very simple and quick to do. You just need to screw the adapter into the tripod thread of your camera and then clip the strap carabiner into the designated loop of the adapter.
