so i think the fluctuations are quite heavy at the moment (do you do it manually or by "the more you click the higher the price-automatic"-method? probably a slow mark-up so that we get a "good" discount on the 27th ? *suspicious

Thanks for the replies, last week the price difference was 416 francs and that was just for a different colour. On the manufacturer's site, the price is the same for both colour variants. 
Sorry, but such a high difference is not comprehensible from my point of view, as it is exactly the same product.

With reference to the comment already made by "Jay", a product is subject to constant price fluctuations (demand etc.); this is most likely also the case here. However, the different prices also come about, as with other products, e.g. smartphones, especially as the prices here are also different for the various colours, but generally not in terms of quality. The best thing to do is to use the manufacturer's page directly at Sage as the first and/or second source: there, however, no difference can be seen with regard to the choice of material, which in turn shows that there is none and the various prices are due to demand / promotions and the popularity of the colour.
The choice of colour is individual, you should get an idea at a local dealer.

Otherwise, I am very satisfied with this Sage and could also recommend the "normal" brushed steel.

The stainless steel version is only 115.- more expensive, due to the stainless steel processing it also makes sense, I have the stainless steel version, I can only recommend it, I saw the black version live once, it doesn't look as nice...
