Why does the power sometimes drop noticeably during operation? In Auto mode sometimes 1200 watts and sometimes only 200 watts, although the target temperature is lower than room temperature both times.
Could it be related to the solar radiation of the outdoor unit? My Midea rattles in Auto mode without any fluctuations...
Hello, I do not experience this phenomenon. I leave it running on auto for a maximum of 1 hour and then switch to manual with a corresponding speed. I can set this individually with the app on my mobile. I would contact the company and ask them.
Incidentally, I asked the company about this. They say that the compressor has to get up to "operating temperature" first and that this can sometimes result in a short delay before the cooling capacity is switched on. The thing ran very (!) satisfactorily for the rest of the summer and kept practically the entire 120m2 attic flat bearable. Max. Power consumption was 4kWh on the hottest day. No comparison with the previous monoblock (which did almost nothing anyway apart from drawing hot air from all the holes into the flat and making a lot of noise). Highly recommended!
