Question about Xiaomi V-SK152B
I would like to use this kettle to boil water for tea and Aeropress coffee, so I would need a temperature of 80°C. I would prefer to not use the app for this. Reading the user manual, it appears that the "Warm" button will boil the water to 100°C then let it cool down to 80°. This seems incredibly inefficient as it's a waste of energy and time. I also read that you can warm the water until 80°C directly through the app (so the Kettle would stop at 80°C and would not go to 100°C first) Is it possible to permanently change the "Warm" button so that it does the same as well? Warm the water to 80°C directly, without first going to 100°C?
i think this is possible. I use the kettle for baby milk so i like that it boils first.
You can select in the settings on the app either warm up or cool down to set temperature. so if you set the temp to 80 and configure warm up instead of cool down. it should work. ( although the every first time in the day it may boil the water) if you then also select do not boil again it should only warm up the water to your pre-set temperature.
unfortunately i cannot add the screenshot of the app settings here.
I think you could do it once you have configured it in the app just to push warm and get your water to the temp you set.
Haven't figured how to do that. Guess it's not possible. But we can look at the temperature and take the kettle out after it reaches 75 degs or so..
