I live in a flat with central heating. During winter the central heating is always on and we regulate each heater with a manual valve. I want to replace these manual valves with the Tado. Do they work without a thermostat? Is the Tado valve able to keep the temperature selected on the valve?

Yes, they will work without thermostat and central heating system. The valve is able to keep the selected temperature if the radiator delievers enough power. The valve just regulats the incoming water flow.
