I know the popcorn machine is actually meant for a more calorie-conscious diet without fat... but could you still add a little butter?

Good day Thiscube

I would not recommend it. Inside are the slots from the fan. Cleaning is almost impossible there.

I recommend sprinkling the popcorn with melted butter afterwards.

Incidentally, this is also recommended by the manufacturer. Only popcorn corn should go into the appliance. Sugar, butter or salt have no place there.

Kind regards

Abstract: Yes

Long version: Popcorn consists mainly of carbohydrates.
1 carbohydrate = approx. 4 Kcal
1g fat = approx. 9 Kcal

Throw in fat and a little less popcorn, then you can balance out the total Kcal.

Tip:
Salt the popcorn with a wet hand, then the salt sticks to the popcorn without fat.
