Question about ecofort ecoQ DryAir 20L Energy Saver Complete

I have the ecoQ DryAir 20L Energy Saver. This also has an ioniser. But these are quite controversial to use, i.e. I don't wet-mop every day. Does that mean I can't use it??? And does it necessarily need a Hepa carbon filter? The delivery of my order has been delayed, so I've already tried the appliance without one ...

If you don't have any particular respiratory sensitivities and the device is properly certified, it should be safe to use the ioniser. I always have it running.
If you don't have a Hepa filter, you *may* get pollen/dust into the appliance now and won't be able to get it out later. Look for the Hepa filter abroad, it is usually available immediately.
