So far we have cooked jasmine, basmati, wild and long grain rice with it. Nothing special was entered, only the cooking time (either QuickRIce = 40 min. or normal = 60 min.), and it worked perfectly every time. The cooker apparently balances itself with a moisture meter. It's a great rice cooker, by the way. Unbeatable price and great rice every time, especially Asian rice, which we have never managed to cook so well in a normal pan. It also automatically goes into keep-warm mode after the cooking time - brilliant!
