How big is the shelf for the steam station?

The shelf of the Brabantia ironing board measures 40 x 25 cm inside. We bought the Tefal GV8977 Pro Express steam station at the same time and it has room in the shelf. The shelf has stiffening ribs on the inside of the base, and our steam station slid back and forth on them. We cut a suitable piece from a 2mm thick rubber mat, and now everything is perfect for us. The table itself makes a stable impression, so far everything is good, we think we bought the right thing.
