No, the kettle is not double-walled and insulated. As soon as the temperature exceeds 60°C, there is a risk of scalding.

- How do I know the current temperature?
the current temperature can be seen on the display between the lid and the handle, at the same place you can set the temperature you want

- Does this kettle also work with 2dl of water? (In general you don't need more than 2dl for tea or coffee).
The kettle will still work if only 2dl of water is added, but we clearly recommend a minimum of 5dl of protection against the heater and appliance. Less than 5dl. Use of water is at the user's own risk.

- Can the beep be unplugged? If not, how loud is it? (Purpose: not to wake up children in the morning when I heat water).

The beep sound (1x when pressing a button and 2x when the kettle turns off after the temperature is reached) the appliance reaches 49db (the child's wake up depends on his daily shape). Sometimes he will hear the sound, sometimes not.
