AVM shows you a temperature... but this is the temperature directly at the radiator, which hardly corresponds to the room temperature - so... yes, you need AVM 440 if you want to see the effective room temperature from anywhere in the room

Can the AVM 301 also be used to read the current room temperature externally via the app?
