Hello, I bought the machine but the pressure indicator never goes up more than two lines and seems that will never reach the optimal zone. Is it just the freshness of the coffee? the tamping and fine grinding? I have tried almost all combinations of fine grinding levels and amount of coffee but the pressure is always very low. Can the machine just be faulty ? thanks a lot

Aside from a technical defect, that would happen if you either don‘t add enough coffee, or the grind setting is too coarse. I have the grinder on mine on 3 for coarseness and and the fill level at appx. ⅔. That works just fine for most of the beans I use.

The pressure gauge is actually more decorative, as it has no scale. But only 2 lines seems very little to me. In my case, the pointer rises to about 1 o'clock, which seems ok to me. There seems to be something wrong with your machine, assuming the quantity and grind are OK.

Hi, I bought this coffee machine as well and had the same issue. Then I sent it back as a complaint and received a new one. The new machine is a bit better as it reaches the Optimal zone when I do espresso but is on the border line of the Optimal zone for the long coffee. Please also note that the pressure will be impacted by the amount of coffee in the filter and grinding level so try to test it with the larger amount of coffee. Also, as per my experience it took a while to get a good coffee out of the machine as you need to find out the settings it gives you the taste you like it.

The service department can probably tell you whether it is defective. Otherwise, adjust the grind finer and / or use more filling quantity. Then it should work.
