The instructions don't actually mention cleaning tablets. I have never used cleaning tablets, although I have used 2 Delonghi coffee machines for the last 10 years or more. Descaling should be done with Delonghi descaling agent. Inexpensive descaling agent has always worked well. I also use it here. I don't know enough about the cleaning powder mentioned.

I don't know anything about cleaning tablets. Descale and clean the brew group often (depending on the intensity of use), i.e. place in warm water and clean the interior. Just the normal stuff.

Our parcel contained a single dose of descaling agent (liquid). The descaling agent, which is suitable for de Longhi, can be bought in Migros or Coop. I think it is enough for about 5 descaling cycles.

It is recommended to use the descaler from DeLonghi. I have had DeLonghi coffee machines before and have always used the descaler from the manufacturer. I was always happy with it and never had any problems.
