Yes, the standard 17 l bag from Migros fits in there. You just have to stretch the opening a bit (put a foot on it and pull it up with your hand so that it doesn't tear) :-)

Yes, just. It’s a bit of a stretch (literally), but once you have the technique, it’s fine.

Only caveat would be that different Gemeinde might have different materials/opening diameters.
