The Tassimo machine is primarily designed for use with special T-Discs that contain a barcode to automatically adjust the brewing parameters. To obtain only hot water, the cleaning disc can be used, but it is not hot enough for normal tea bags. One trick is to modify the barcode of the cleaning disc to obtain hot water, but this is not officially supported.
