As with all Staub cocottes, the interior of this cocotte is coated with matte black enamel, which allows for good heat distribution and, combined with the tightly fitting lid, saves energy during cooking. The lid features a special design that collects condensation and allows it to drip evenly over the food, as well as a silver knob for lifting the lid.

This cocotte, with its large oval shape, is suitable for larger pieces of meat or poultry. For example, you can roast a goose, place a few truffle pieces on top, and serve the goose in the cocotte at the dining table. It will stay hot for a long time, allowing you to enjoy a lengthy meal with your guests.
