As with all dust cocottes, the inside of the cocotte is coated with matt black enamel, which ensures good heat distribution and, in conjunction with the tightly closing lid, also saves energy during cooking. The lid has a special design that collects condensation and allows it to drip evenly over the food, and a silver button to lift the lid.
