The Dual Filter™ is a combination of HEPA H12 and activated carbon filters. The H12 HEPA filter removes pollutants such as pet hair, fine dust, pollen, viruses, and bacteria from the air. The activated carbon filter adsorbs gases like unpleasant odors, tobacco smoke, and volatile organic compounds. Compared to an H14 HEPA filter, the H12 HEPA filter has a lower density, allowing more air to be filtered in the same amount of time. The Dual Filter™ needs to be replaced every 8–12 months.
