Hello, The Skywatch BL does not have a direct display, it must be connected to a smartphone or tablet. We have other portable anemometers with a display that does not require the use of a phone: - Skywatch Xplorer 4 No connection is required, and it shows instantaneous values. Best regards, Team Skywatch

In the meantime, I was able to try out the device myself and: No, it can only measure as long as a smartphone is connected via Bluetooth. So it is not really a weather station, but simply a measuring device. Too bad.

The devices differ as follows: BL-300: Measures wind, temperature and humidity. BL-400:Measures wind, temperature, humidity and pressure. BL-500:Measures wind, temperature, humidity, pressure and UV index. This is also described in the slogan of the products - to make this easier to understand, the differences will be added to the specifications.
