For product revisions, manufacturers often use the same manufacturer number and GTIN as the predecessor. The GTIN enables electronic product identification for goods receipt and dispatch in our automated warehouse. Of course, we strive for fast turnaround from order to delivery, so we cannot control which product version is shipped. This ensures efficiency, but can lead to differences in the delivered version.
