Yes, you can: With a steam cleaner with steam volume control (lowest level) you can also clean laminate or parquet (not oiled or waxed!). Set to half the steam quantity. Use two cloths (=4 layers) (available as accessories) so that as little steam as possible comes directly onto the surface. Do not leave the nozzle on one spot for a long time. Please make sure that no puddles form. The residual moisture then dries quickly and without streaks.

There are two versions of the SC4. One for D/EU and one for CH. Apparently the accessories are not compatible. I recommend the CH version for Swiss people.

I received the SC4 yesterday and it came with 4 white Kärcher descaler sticks. Instructions as follows: Depending on the size of the appliance and the degree of calcification, put 1-3 sticks in the appliance, fill up with lukewarm water and let it work for about 8 hours. Then rinse at least twice with clean water.
