Hello everyone, Can anyone tell me if this spinner can also be used as a mixing bowl? I.e. is it flat at the bottom or does it have a "spike"?

It is flat at the bottom... so it can be used as a bowl. It has a plastic insert so that it turns (so it is in three parts). However, ours has already broken the pull cord twice or the mechanism broke. You have to make sure that the rotating part doesn't get too wet. Otherwise a good product.

Unfortunately, the cable mechanism is very quickly broken or prone to failure. Especially when it gets wet, I suspect the rope swells up due to the water and gets jammed. Tip for those who have already bought the thing - do not rinse the lid! Tip to those who haven't bought it yet - buy another product! In general, these things are unfortunately (the more complex and comfortable) very susceptible. I will now buy another one with a simple rotary drive crank. My grandmother had one of these for about 30 years, and I think she even passed it on to my mother. Those were the days 😳
