Hello, the scale holds the weight for more than 10 seconds. I have never stopped the time, but I have never had this problem. And I often have to read it myself ^^

The batteries last a long time. I haven't changed the batteries since I bought it. I had a Beurer body scale that had the same problem! Replace the batteries every 3 months!

The batteries are included with this kitchen scale. It contains a CR2032 battery.

Hello- The scale measures ind 1gr increments.

It's hard to tell. The sticker on the back side has "Beurer GmbH, Ulm, Germany", but it doesn't tell explicitely "made in Germany".

According to the manufacturer, the batteries must be purchased separately.
