Aarke Carbonator II
Aarke Carbonator II
Hello, I have never had this problem before. It works perfectly.
Gas bottle possibly under-tightened?
This has also happened to me. But now I always fill about 1 cm below the line. Then it works perfectly.
That's a good question, which I also asked myself when I bought it. This is a screw cap. The glass carafes have a special safety system without a screw cap. So I am pretty sure that the glass carafes are not compatible. For me, the system with the glass carafes almost always jammed. That's why I finally decided on the aarke and went back to the plastic bottle with a heavy heart.
It was probably a mistake, currently you can select the black Carbonator II normally: aarke Carbonator II
No, the insert for the bottle has exactly the diameter of the 60L CO2 bottle.
A plastic bottle is supplied. The common SodaStream bottles can also be used.
Yes, it's the same bottle.
Soft cloth, warm water, mild soap. Nothing spectacular. The strainer can be removed separately.
The bottles must not go into the dishwasher. They must be cleaned by hand. For the machine itself, we use a damp, soft cloth.
No, unfortunately we cannot offer the Black Chrome version at the moment.
Yes, this is the Aarke Carbonator II.
I bought two "MySodapop" glass bottles in Germany that fit perfectly. (The brand was once mentioned here among the reviews.) You can watch them on YouTube, for example. They are extremely massive - 0.8kg - so quite heavy when filled. I can't imagine that they could burst when filled. Probably for safety reasons, they are sold in Germany with a jacket, a thin cover made of a kind of neoprene, which I immediately disposed of.
CHF 176? In the Aarke online shop, prices are quoted from 212-237.
I don't know the new soda bottles, you have to compare the lid and then the bottles fit. I also use soda bottles, 1.0 litre and 0.5 litre. The glass soda bottles don't work.
Whether an item is included in a promotion depends strongly on supply and demand, as well as on the supplier. In this case, only the silver and gold colour models were included in the promotion.
Yes, the bottles have an expiry date. However, I assume that this is only a recommendation
NO. The SodaStream Crystal has glass bottles, but swallows them during filling in a locked metal safety container. In addition, the glass bottles do not fit mechanically into the open filler. Whether it's Aarke or SodaStream. I would have preferred to use the more stylish Crystal glass bottles, but they don't fit. Anyway, the Aarke bottles with stainless steel bottoms are as pretty as safety allows. We wouldn't want to switch from this appliance to the clunky SodaStream again.
Hi, I had the same problem. There are gas bottles from Coop that fit into the Aarke. Unfortunately, it was always by chance. I returned the wrong ones and now only buy the original ones from Sodastream, but it's a shame that they are more expensive.
The Carbonator is made in China
Should work most CO2 cylinders. I bought this one, no problems: SodaStream Mietzylinder Alco2Jet 60 (inkl Füllung) (60l)
Yes, the aromas should be added after bubbling :-)
