This replacement lamp eliminates the risk of infection and the proliferation of airborne bacteria and germs through germicidal wavelengths of UV light. It destroys germs and reduces the growth of odor-causing microbes on the surface of the air purifier filter. The air purifier's indicator light shows when the lamp needs to be replaced.
