Sie bewegt und spült sich automatisch (Finger weg hier, Klemmgefahr). Brüht guten Espresso, nur die Crema ist weniger feinporig als bei anderen. Statt Latte macchiato macht das Gerät Caffe Latte (Milchkaffee mit Schaum). Das Aufheizen dauert etwas lang.
Der Krups EA 9000 besticht durch eine simple Bedienung und den gut ablesbaren Touchscreen. Das Milchaufschäumsystem liefert hohen, lockeren Milchschaum und reinigt sich anschließend automatisch. Die sieben Getränke lassen sich je nach Geschmack in Stärke und Menge verändern.
Die zwei weißen Spots in der Crema deuten auf eine zu lange Durchlaufzeit hin, wodurch der Espresso bitterer schmeckt. Dafür produziert die Dampfdüse der Krups den schönsten Cappuccino-Schaum im Test.
