Instructions for use
Regular and early descaling is recommended, ideally every 3 months. Please follow the instructions for use of your coffee machine for the descaling and rinsing process. Machine WITH descaling programme (steps 1-3) Set the machine to the local water hardness. As soon as the descaling indicator lights up, you should descale the machine. - Pour a portion (125 ml) of durgol swiss espresso into the water tank. - Fill the tank with tap water until the total amount recommended by the machine manufacturer is reached. - The programme now starts automatically or can be started. Machine WITHOUT descaling programme (steps 1-3) Descale at the latest when the throughput time of the coffee increases or the brewing noises increase. - Pour a portion (125 ml) of durgol swiss espresso into the water tank. - Fill the tank with the same amount of tap water (125 ml). - Allow this solution to flow through the hot water outlet (caution: do not generate steam!). If there is no hot water outlet, let it flow through the coffee spout. Other cases Dilute one portion (125 ml) of durgol swiss espresso with 875 ml of water and allow the entire one litre solution to flow through the machine via the hot water outlet (or the coffee spout). If the water tank of your coffee machine holds more than 1.2 litres, we recommend 2 portions of durgol swiss espresso per descaling. Machine WITH / WITHOUT descaling programme (steps 4-6) - Collect the escaping liquid in a sufficiently large glass or plastic container. Place this in such a way that splashes are prevented. Caution: Liquid can be hot! - Rinse out the water tank with tap water. Then rinse the machine with 1-2 tankfuls of tap water (WITH descaling programme: rinse according to the instructions for your coffee machine). - Tip: After descaling, wipe the coffee machine with a damp cloth to remove any splashes. => Now you can enjoy your next perfect cup of coffee.
