This utensil is made of heavy iron, coated with beeswax for a protective finish against oxidation, which facilitates seasoning. Enhanced non-stick properties develop with the first use. The thick, non-deformable edge ensures excellent caramelization of food. Natural non-stick properties develop with gradual seasoning. The handle is wrapped between two pieces of Vosges beech wood, certified by PEFC, and treated with beeswax to protect against heat and enhance grip. The riveted handle is curved in the French style for robustness, ease of handling, and ergonomic design. Tip: Preheat with a bit of fat.
Care: Deglaze, rinse with warm water, dry, and lightly oil. Store in a dry place. Do not use cleaning agents and never wash in the dishwasher. Suitable for all cooking surfaces, including induction.
