The use of a high-quality knife is best complemented by a suitable, knife-friendly cutting board. The advantages of a cutting board made from wood fibers include not only the longevity of the blades but also low maintenance and moisture resistance. A cutting board made from bio-based wood fibers can be safely washed in the dishwasher and, unlike traditional solid wood boards, does not require sanding or oiling.

The board is noticeably thinner than traditional wooden boards and may initially feel hard under the knife, but it quickly becomes softer with use, making it more knife-friendly than plastic cutting boards. The heat resistance of pressed wood fiber is also significantly higher than that of traditional wooden boards, allowing it to be safely used as a trivet as well. Bio-based wood fiber boards have received NSF certification, thus meeting strict hygiene standards. The dimensions of the board are 33 x 23 cm with a thickness of 6.5 mm.

Scratches that occur on the surface of the board can be removed with fine sandpaper, although this is often unnecessary as the scratches are merely a cosmetic issue.
