Alba is the device best suited to serving, tasting and celebrating truffles: a mysterious and delicious product from the Piedmont region.
The design of the Alba truffle slicer, created by Ben Van Berkel/UN Studio, is reminiscent of the wickerwork of the precious and bulbous mushroom and the roots of the plant with which it lives in symbiosis. A completely new form for a traditional tool. A sculptural and refined object and as functional as it is powerful. The truffle slicer is made of 18/10 stainless steel and was created in collaboration with the National Centre for Truffle Studies and the Body for the International Truffle Fair of Alba. The name of the machine is reminiscent of the town of the same name.
