I am currently using a Philips Hue lamp without a bridge and have it connected to a normal wall switch. I can set the colour to blue, for example, but as soon as I switch the lamp off via the switch and switch it on again, it restarts in the standard light (bright white). Question: If I get a Philips Hue Bridge - can I then set the lamp to automatically start in the last colour/brightness used when it is switched on or even adopt a fixed colour value (e.g. blue)?
