How long is the tube that comes with it? Long enough for e.g. a 1 litre bottle?

Disassembled, the tube is 20 cm long. With a wine bottle, you have about 4 cm left measured from the bottom.
Yes, that's actually enough, although the tube is a bit bent. I have partially replaced mine with normal straws, fits very well.
