Hi Elia, I bought this lamp some time ago and am super happy with it. At first I also wanted to set up the app with my iPhone SE, but it's really not that easy. What I didn't like most was that it asked for information that I don't see why it's necessary for operating a desk lamp. So I deleted everything and operate it by hand, it's really easy. It takes longer to unlock my phone and start the app - unless you want to turn it on before you enter the room.....
This is not the answer to your question, but my thoughts about the app :-))
