Miserable muffled sound - sent back immediately
I bought the device after a short research because it performed well in tests. The design is great and the initial setup is easy. It gets more complicated when it comes to the core function. Changing and saving the alarm is not entirely intuitive - it would be nice if this could be done quickly and easily. The sound is very disappointing. This was also criticised in other reviews. It's clear that you can't expect brilliant sound quality from an alarm clock radio - but this device only offers a muffled radio sound. The messages are difficult to understand. So quickly back into the packaging and back to Digitec.
It's a mystery to me why it's always so difficult to make a usable clock radio in 2022. Practically every model has some major drawback:
- poor sound quality
- too bright display
- complicated alarm setting
- bad design

Radio alarm clock that wakes with DAp :D
Have replaced my 20 year old radio alarm clock with this DAB radio alarm clock.
The functions are almost the same: He wakes up with radio and / or with beep.
For DAB/FM there is a station list that you can save. The saving is not intuitive at the first use, but succeeds at the 3rd station without problems.
One has the possibility to pre-program 3 different alarm clocks. The alarm clock also works with repeat function. So one can be set for during the week, which wakes with radio and the second later with beep.
The display can be set to different brightness levels in operation or standby.
Unfortunately, here is the only drawback I found: DIe lowest level is so dark that even in a dark room the time can hardly be read. One level brighter, however, is so bright that you have the feeling that the sun is about to rise.Pro
