Max. 4cm wide. With a little bending maybe 2-3mm more.
I hope it is for beer pong ;-) I use it for clothes. The nöppels are rather too short for plastic cups.

My door is also 4 cm thick and it works perfectly, but afterwards it is difficult or impossible to close the door. The door frame is also affected.

The piece hangs behind the door in our children's room. I find it super practical because it has a lot of space to hang it up and it also looks great.
The hooks with the rods are about 22 cm long. Then there is the grille with the clothes hooks, which is about 35 cm long. You have to decide for yourself whether this height of a 2.20 m door is enough for you.
