I had the same problem. They don't supply the rubber base alone. So I ordered a new chair. But later I found the solution: use a used scooter tyre (not too much though) and fix it with cable ties, after drilling the tyre in the right places! The chair is perfectly functional again! It's called extending the life of an object and it's in the air of time!

The seat height can be adjusted from 44 cm to 57 cm.

The ring is made of plastic. I also use it on parquet, no problem.
