We also have several in use and we had to have the light switches converted in each case. The Hue spots need permanent power (they have to send a signal to the bridge) and we could only do this by removing or bridging the classic light switches. It will be the same with the dimmer switches. You don't dim the spots with more or less current, but the spots dim themselves (through the app, Philips Hue switch, etc.). However, in my opinion/as far as I know, the power supply to the spots must be constant.

Hi - I did a quick search at Phillips, and they do mention that they are dimmable, but that refers to dimming via Bluetooth rather than dimming via dimmer and switch. I guess you set them to maximum and dim them via the app/Bluetooth - and effectively test when there is no longer enough power for them to function properly. Alternatively, ask the customer service: https://helpcenter.digitec.ch/hc/de/requests/new LG

I use them outdoors for a covered seating area and I'm not worried about that. Never read about outdoor and indoor applications.

Unfortunately, I cannot say exactly how the prices for individual items, but also set items, are made up. The price is basically made up of various factors, such as availability, demand, margin, etc. Unfortunately, it is not possible to give a more precise indication of pricing and development.
