Do I understand correctly that this lamp keeps the light settings even if it is disconnected from the power in the meantime? (I want to use the lamp in the bathroom, the corresponding connection is coupled with the ventilation and should therefore not be on all the time).

That is correct. I use the lamp in one gear with a normal switch, the last setting remains in each case.

What about the warranty? According to the manufacturer, this product has a 5-year guarantee. However, Galaxus only gives a guarantee of 24 months. Which is correct?

Have you connected the lamp to a dimmer? This can lead to humming. Otherwise, check all connections again. You could also try connecting the lamp to the socket via a cable. Maybe you can isolate the problem that way. In my case (ceiling-mounted, new flat 2013), none of the three lamps buzzes.
