One of the oldest forms of storage is baskets in various shapes and materials. The earliest finds date back to 10,000 BC. Whether in Europe, Asia, or Africa, baskets can be found everywhere in a wide variety of forms and with their own design language. The Gabun basket is inspired by large African baskets that were used for storing corn and other foods. The weaving material is seagrass, a particularly fast-growing resource that emits a wonderfully natural scent. Gabun can be used in the bathroom for laundry, in the spa for towels, or just as well in the living area to create a natural ambiance with a branch or dried grasses.
