Our sense of smell is remarkable: with about 20 million olfactory cells on ten square centimeters of mucous membrane, it can distinguish thousands of scents. It only requires a tiny amount for identification: just one scent molecule is enough to recognize it among a trillion air molecules. Once identified, every scent is stored in a sort of fragrance registry. When we perceive the scent again, this recognition automatically connects with the stored past event - and we remember!

Note: Glade scented candles are designed for indoor use. However, they can also be used in the sheltered outdoor area of your home. Always ensure that the wick is no longer than about 0.5 cm. If necessary, trim it a little. When lighting for the first time, let it burn for about 3 hours until the entire top layer of wax has melted. This allows the scented candle to burn more evenly. Also, make sure that the candle is not in a draft, as this can lead to smoke or soot formation. Never leave candles unattended.

The candle jar is reusable; you can refill the empty jar with decorative filler or sand and place a tea light on top, for example. Dispose of the emptied jar in an environmentally friendly manner at public glass collection points.
