The Busch-Jaeger dimming actuator WaveLINE 6704 is designed for switching and dimming electrical loads by radio. It supports functions such as ON/OFF, dimming, and light scene control, featuring a soft ON/OFF function and selectable light value storage. It is compatible with wall transmitters WaveLINE 6731-xxx, 6732-xxx, and 6733-xxx, as well as the handheld transmitter WaveLINE 6780.

A repeater function can be activated to increase the range. It allows for universal mounting or installation with 2-wire connection technology (neutral conductor not required) and 3-wire connection technology (neutral conductor required) preferred for electronic transformers. It can be mounted in (deep) flush-mounted boxes according to DIN 49073 and is controllable via up to 32 transmitter addresses.

Transmitting/receiving frequency is 868 MHz with a range of approximately 100 m (free field). The neutral conductor is optionally connectable for load-dependent light value fluctuations. For electronic transformers, allow for approximately 5% transformer losses, and for conventional transformers, allow approximately 20% transformer losses.
