I can hear every word my table mates say. It's a bit distracting when we're in the same call.

I was able to do some research and in this case the charging cradle is for charging the headset. It's tidy and doesn't lie on the table. There are other models where the cradle also serves as a base to which you connect a landline phone or other devices that can't connect via Bluetooth or USB. The Jabra Evolve2 65 headset is a very solid and good choice for the application you describe, and I would have selected the same. If you want better sound and a larger ear cup, there is also the 85 headset from Jabra: https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s1/product/jabra-evolve2-85-kabellos-usb-c-office-headset-13360700

The difference between the MS version and the standard version of a Jabra product usually relates to certification and optimisation for certain platforms, such as Microsoft Teams in the case of the MS version. The MS version is specifically designed to be compatible with Microsoft Teams, which may include built-in features for a better user experience in this environment. The standard version, on the other hand, may not have these specific features. In the case of the "Evolve2 65 MS (Wireless, USB-C)", it is optimised for Microsoft Teams, which means it is designed to work perfectly with this platform, offering features such as volume control, mute, and seamless integration with Teams meetings.

To connect your headset to a Windows PC via Bluetooth, you don't necessarily need an adapter. However, for a more stable and easier connection, the use of a Bluetooth adapter such as the Jabra Link 380 is recommended. This adapter is often supplied with the headset and provides a direct, pre-configured wireless connection. If you want to connect directly via Bluetooth without an adapter, you can do so by activating Bluetooth on your PC and selecting the headset from the list of available devices.

The Jabra Evolve2 65 MS (Wireless, USB-C) is compatible with most laptops, including Lenovo models. Here are some important compatibility points: - The headset can be connected to your laptop via Bluetooth or the included Jabra Link 380 Bluetooth adapter. - It is compatible with both Mac and PC systems. - There are no specific restrictions regarding the brand of the laptop as long as the Bluetooth function or the USB port (USB-C or USB-A) is available. Thus, the Jabra Evolve2 65 MS (Wireless, USB-C) should work with your Lenovo laptop without any problems.

According to the following technical data sheet, a Bluetooth dongle should be included in the scope of delivery. https://www.jabra.com/_... But if you're not allowed to connect via Bluetooth, it's the same thing, isn't it?

Hello I can't make a direct comparison with the Evolve 75, but my experience with this headset is very good. It allows high-quality conversations even in a busy open-plan office or in a busy home office. However, it is beyond the capabilities of this headset to completely block out the surroundings, e.g. when children are shouting or similar.

I hardly think so. In my view, this is the biggest and up to now only real weak point. The headset does not hold very well. If you move your head down quickly, it can fall off quickly or at least slip. That is annoying. But otherwise I really enjoy it. It seems more stable. My old Evolve 65 broke at the transition from the headband to one ear cup. This one seems to be better built. Also, if you move the earpiece upwards, you are muted. In the version with MS Teams, Teams also recognises that you are muting and displays it. If you want to "unmute" yourself, simply move the headband back in front of your mouth. The headset now speaks more than just English. You can install firmware with German phrases on the headset. Not absolutely necessary, but nice.

I have just tried this. I was only able to establish a connection via cable, so the device also seems to work for your specific application. What I can't say is whether the Bluetooth is then also switched off, in case the cable connection is preferred to a wireless connection for radiation considerations. I hope this helps you.
